Overview

Built, Configured And Proven Before Handover

Network, server and storage, firewall and security, IP telephony, CCTV and physical security, and full data centre infrastructure, all deployed, configured, integrated and tested.

Deployment is where a design meets the building. Cable routes, power, rack space, existing addressing and whatever is already running on the network all have to be accommodated, and they are rarely exactly as the drawings assumed.

So the sequence is fixed. Site conditions are confirmed before anything is unboxed, hardware is installed with the cabling and power it depends on, and configuration is written for this environment rather than left at a vendor default. New equipment is then integrated with what is already live and tested along the paths that only fail under load or failover, because those are the ones that otherwise surface in production.
